two bedroom vacation rental is in a modern elevator building which has a
buzzer / intercom security system at the entrance and parking available
(for a fee). It is situated in Bermondsey, an area on the south bank of
the river Thames, which belongs to the London borough of Southwark. You
will conveniently have access to Broadband internet and telephone, as
well as weekly cleaning services. Additionally there is a washer and
dryer in the apartment, which you will find in the kitchen.
The
fully furnished two bedroom accommodation has hardwood floors and large
floor-to-ceiling windows that allow the natural light to brighten the
space. The living area is furnished in a contemporary style with
comfortable sofas, an area rug, a coffee table, and a cable TV. The open
kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and all the necessary
cookery and cutlery, as well as cupboards for storage. Next to it is a
dining table that seats four guests, where you can sit down to enjoy
your freshly prepared meals. The bedrooms each have a double bed; the
master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a storage closet in the
main hallway. The guest bedroom also has a double bed, as well as an
in-built closet. There is a bathroom next it that is accessed from the
hallway. In most units, you will find a private balcony at the far end
of the hall, which offers a lovely view of London’s SE1 district.

on Tower Bridge Road between Tanner Street & Abbey Street, this
vacation rental puts you within easy reach of many of the city’s
attractions. Visit the New Caledonian Market (0.2 miles), an open market
in Bermondsey Square, where you can find antiques. Just a half-mile
away, you can go and take pictures at the beautiful and iconic Tower
Bridge. Another popular tourist spot is the London Dungeon (0.7 miles),
which offers and interactive experience and rides, and teaches you about
macabre historical events using the “gallows” humor. Just 0.3 miles
away is the Fashion and Textile Museum that has ongoing temporary
displays. The Bermondsey area is lovely, as it offers amazing river
views, and since being converted from old warehouses and wharves, now
features many upscale properties—some of the most expensive in London!
Don’t miss out on the great dining opportunities close by, including the
Pont de la Tour restaurant (0.5 miles) at Butler’s Wharf, which
specializes in French cuisine. There are three underground stations
located near the apartment: Bermondsey (0.8 miles), on the Jubilee line,
Borough (1.1 miles), on the Northern Line, and London Bridge (0.8
miles), where you can catch both the Jubilee and Northern trains. You
can also take the bus, as there are several bus routes nearby.
